WRAWCrew 2018: First Big Planning Party

There's a certain buzz in the air. I've felt it, you've felt it, and from the 5th - 9th of March 2018, all of Melbourne will be feeling it too.

Our annual Women's Rights at Work Festival is just around the corner, and this year, we're focusing on how we can #ChangeTheRules for working women.

Last year, we had a program not to be missed, including the IEU Feminist Book Club, a feminist history of beer-brewing + actual beer-brewing, our now infamous WRAWFest Gala, and of course, the International Women's Day March and after-party.

Join us for our first planning party on the 19th October to meet a group of fantastic activists and help us pull together the entire festival.

We'll be calling on unions, community organisations, feminist collectives, and all activists who think that the current rules for working women are broken - and need to be changed.

There'll be snacks and soft drink, as well as the opportunity to be a part of a campaign that will change the rules for women workers all over the country.

Accessibility: Trades Hall is an old building but we will do all we can to make the event accessible for people with disabilities. Many of the rooms are wheelchair accessible. If given enough notice we will make adjustments as best we can for other access requirements.
