Victorian Working Women's Conference

Women Organising for Change

I say:  WOMEN

You say:  POWER

WOMEN:  POWER!

On the eve of the federal election Victorian working women are coming together to decide what they want and how they are going to go about getting it!

Join women from a diverse range of unions and women’s community organisations to design our Platform for Action for Victorian Working Women.

All women are welcome! You don't need to be part of an organisation to participate and the conference is open to anyone who identifies as a woman. Get a bunch of friends together and come along!

Keynote Speakers:

Kate Jenkins - Sex Discrimination Commissioner

Ged Kearney - ACTU President

The Conference program features:

A run down on what women want – results from the WRAW Chat process to date

Perspectives on power pre and post the federal election

               Campaigning skills frameworks

Interactive workshops facilitated by organisers & educators who are leading social change

The conference is a feminist space where your ideas and concerns can be explored in a safe and supportive environment. So join us for a day of feminist fun!

Accessibility: Trades Hall is an old building but we will do all we can to make the event accessible for women with disabilities. Many of the rooms are wheelchair accessible. If given enough notice we will make adjustments as best we can for other access requirements.
