Designed to encourage more women to be active in unions, the Anna Stewart Memorial Project is a structured, two week long skills development and leadership program. This year we are doing things a bit differently. We’re offering the same interactive workshops but we’ll be delivering these workshops online via Zoom. We are excited to offer a jam packed program with a broad range of workshops where you’ll hear from union and other workplace experts and have the opportunity to share and develop your skills alongside other union women.
In this introductory workshop you will:
- learn who was Anna Stewart was and her inspiring work for women in our movement
- find out more about women's leadership in the union movement
- hear from past Annas who will share their experience of ASMP and what it has meant for them
As part of this workshops we will hear from special guests:
- Mandy Coulson, Industrial Officer from the Community and Public Sector Union Victoria
- Wil Stracke, Assistant Secretary as the Victorian Trades Hall Council
