It's official. Feminism in the Pub is now a We Are Union Women institution - and we're doing it all over again!
July's event topic will be Feminism in the Pub: Building a Diverse Movement. Women are a diverse social group, experiencing multiple forms of oppression. We'll be unpacking intersectionality in feminist activism on July 12th.
We're calling together all our feminist friends to help us organise the event, frame the questions that will be asked, and input all your ideas about how we can make these nights Melbourne's must-be-seen-at feminist collective event!
Join us on Wednesday the 21st of June from 5.30pm - 7.00pm for a planning meeting. Snacks and soft drink will be provided, as well as an awesome chance to meet fellow feminist activists, learn some new skills, and share your own!
New and experienced activists are all welcome!
Accessibility: Trades Hall is an old building but we will do all we can to make the event accessible for people with disabilities. Many of the rooms are wheelchair accessible. If given enough notice we will make adjustments as best we can for other access requirements.
