All workers are entitled to a safe workplace, but bullying and harassment occur daily and affect the psychological health of workers.

'I would like to know more about how to handle workplace bullying as at the moment I feel like I am being bullied by my co-worker and our supervisor. I want to face this issue the wise and smart way not just me getting sick of it then just explode' Female, 19, Waitress2

Bullying and Harassment are workplace hazards affecting psychological health and safety. As an organiser, you can help prevent workplace bullying. This course will assist you in ensuring the appropriate controls are in place to minimise the risks. Evidence-based research from scientific and legal studies identifies workplace factors that can contribute to psychological health and safety.

There are things we can do to prevent workplace bullying, and ways to organise so that workers have the appropriate controls to minimize the risks.

The Preventing Workplace Bullying and Harassment course will inform you of the magnitude of these hazards present in Australian workplaces across all industries.  It will assist you to develop an Organising Plan to build our workplace leaders’ capacity to prevent workplace psychosocial hazards.

Further it will increase your knowledge and skill in relation to how to use both the WHS and Industrial law as a tool to resolve complaints from individual members whilst also addressing any organisational or systemic influence.
